X Models Sword 2.5

The Sword 2.5 has outstanding speed and performance and is ideal as a high performance sports model. It is also very suitable as a starter model in F3F competitions. This model has the same modified RG15 aerofoil as the Blade 1.9 but is larger and 
stiffer and comes in 2 pieces to aid transportation up to the slope. 
Hitec HS125MG servo's are recommended for the ailerons and flaps although Hitec HS85MG's can also be used very successfully. A very generous nose is revealed when the carbon fibre canopy is removed off allowing plenty of room for big NiCad packs, the receiver and your choice of servos. The tail is of cruciform configuration and the two tail feathers are removabale from the fin for easy transportation. We recommend a Hitec 235MG servo to control the all moving tail and a Hitec 225BB for the rudder.
Situated in the fuselage are two ballast tube which takes up to 1100g of lead. Adding ballast really does add to the Sword's top end speed range. As with all X Models the Sword 2.5 comes with a very comprehensive accessory pack.
The Sword is available in a wide range of colours however this particular one is white with red tips and a red underside of the wing.
